The CYBEX Pallas B2-Fix + Lux car seat combines a long lifespan with advanced safety features for lasting peace of mind. This 2-in-1 seat is a reliable protector for approximately 11 years of your child’s development. Working in a similar way to an inflated airbag, the adjustable impact shield guards against the forces of a front impact until your child weighs 18kg. It can then be easily removed to allow the seat to keep growing with your child. A patented reclining headrest allows sleepy children to nap without their head tilting forward. This helps keep the head in a protected position in the event of a side crash, while Linear Side-impact Protection Plus helps absorb the forces of the collision.

The Cybex Pallas B2-Fix Lux is the same as the Cybex Pallas B-Fix, except the B2-Fix has the reclining headrest and isofix arms whereas the B-Fix does not have the reclining headrest and it has latch isofix. They are the same shell and therefore receive the same safety score.

 SAFETY FEATURES

The optimised impact shield of the Pallas B2-Fix reduces the risk of serious neck injuries without confining the child and has an improved overall crash performance. The one-hand adjustment of the impact shield ensures ease of use for the parent. The force of a head-on collision is distributed over the impact shield and absorbed by its impact-absorbing materials. This system resembles an inflated airbag and helps to significantly reduce the force of impact in the event of an accident. The harness does not injure the child, while at the same time the sensitive head, neck shoulders and inner organs are protected. The newly designed, one-hand adjustable impact shield (patent pending) adjusts for highest comfort perfectly to the child’s body and additionally offers more freedom of movement of the upper body as well as maximum safety especially in frontal impacts when compared to conventional five-point harness systems.

The patented reclining headrest prevents the child's head from tipping forward while sleeping. It ensures that the child's head remains in the safety zone at all times, which is especially important in the event of a side-impact collision.

The energy-absorbing shell of the Pallas B2-Fix Lux absorbs the forces of an impact and protectively covers the child.

The improved Linear Side-impact Protection System of the Pallas B2-Fix Lux offers enhanced safety during a side-impact. The L.S.P. System reduces the forces of an impact in the event of a side-impact collision by approximately 25% when compared to the same car seat without L.S.P. extended.

The Pallas B2-Fix Lux is equipped with ISOFIX for easy installation and extra stability. Can also be used in vehicles without ISOFIX.
